Abbie & Jeff ~ A Mexico Wedding

For this last Friday before Christmas, I want to post a quick teaser of Jeff and Abbie's wedding. I shot this over Thanksgiving weekend in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. The wedding was held at the Gran Porto Real All Inclusive Hotel and Spa. They had about 50 of their closest friends and family spend the holiday weekend with them on the beach.  You might remember them from a previous post of their engagement session. I've known Jeff for a very long time and I am so happy to see him with the most perfect person. These two were made for each other. I wish you both many, many more happy and excitment filled years. Thanksgiving ~ A New Tradition

I have returned from Playa del Carmen, Mexico. My husband and I, along with his parents, flew to Mexico for Thanksgiving this year. I went down there to shoot a friends wedding and we all decided to together and celebrate Thanksgiving in a new way. I think we might have started a new tradition! Tacos and margaritas in place of turkey, nothing wrong with that.

Emily & Robert ~ A Country Wedding

This wedding was in June of 2010 out near Brennan, Texas. If anyone has been to Texas in June or even heard about that time of year, its hot. It's really hot. Luckily we were at a beautiful farm situated on a slight hill. After the sun went down we started to get some breezes and it was quite nice actually.
The heat did not bother Emily and Robert this day. They only thing on their minds was each other. I was with the bride before the ceremony and the other photographer was with the groom. I don't know about Robert, but Emily couldn't get out of there fast enough to see him. Once the church doors opened, all that anxiety and stress washed away. The instant vision and feeling of love was felt through out the whole church.
Congrats to Emily and Robert! May your love and marriage be as hot as that June evening.

Carolyn & Andrew ~ A Day Wedding

Carolyn and Andrew were married one gorgeous morning in May. It has been a very long time since I've done a day wedding. It seems the trend is usually an evening one, so this was a nice change of pace. Although I did have an evening wedding that day as well. Let's just say I was one tired girl on Sunday.

Catherine's sister got married less than 6 months prior to her. So in that time frame I got to know the family very well. The love between these two shined as bright as the sun did that day. I wish them all the best and congratulations on a new step in their lives. Here's to the Paine's!

The Carter's ~ A Party, I mean, Wedding

Warning, this is a very long post because of the awesome party that it was. First let me say I love the Carters. I have gotten to know them through the Debutante Season last year and her and her girls are amazing, sweet and know how to party. OK now on to the wedding. These two are made for each other. I was in awe at the love these two shared the whole day. When they looked into each others eyes, you knew this was it. Then the party began and it all went uphill from there. I was sucked into the groove myself and there I was, dancing on the dance floor with them. Wow, love you guys! Enjoy!
