Travis ~ A True Talent

One of my best friends for High school, Travis Vance,  came in town last week and played a show. He did sort of a mini tour through Texas so he could see some friends and family while playing with his friends, Parachute Musical. He currently lives in Nashville, TN and writes and plays his own music. I've known Travis since middle school and always knew that he could play bass and was very talented, but when I saw him last week, whoa. This guy is amazing! He needs to be big time and you all need to hear him play. I'll see if I can link to some of him music later. For now, enjoy these shots I got of him.

Libby Koch ~ A New Album

Here is the rest of the session I did with my friend Libby Koch. She is a singer/songwriter from Houston, Texas. She used to be lawyer. She has the best dog in the whole world, Bridget, who happened to make a few appearances in this session. She's passionate about what she sings. I was able to sit with her and my hus-band as they layed down a few tracks for the new CD a few days after this session and I awoke the next day singing those songs. I actually kept singing them for the next few days. Now I need the new CD so I can remember more of the words.

I wish you all the luck and success in the world Libby. You are an amazingly talented musician and remember us little ones when you make it big!

Libby Koch ~ A Singer/Songwriter, teaser

Quick teaser of my friend Libby Koch. She's a singer/songwriter from Houston, Texas. She's almost done recording her new album which was done at her father's ranch house out in Waller, Texas. My husband and I had the privilege to go out there and see her recording process and grab a few shots in between. Hus-band also got to lay down a few tracks on the new CD. She's playing tonight in Dallas at Poor Davids Pub.

NAMM - An Experience

This weekend I went to NAMM in Anaheim, CA. It was quite and experience and sensory overload. I seriously took what my husband does for a living for granted. I could not move today and thankfully it was a holiday and I could recover. Here are some of the people I saw this weekend. I'll try again later to post more of the unusual side of it later. *sigh*
