Katie & Jordan ~ A Wedding

Katie and Jordan were married on an early summer evening. It was hot, this is Houston so that expected, and the threat of rain was imminent. We made it through the ceremony and into the reception missing the rain. Katie was the most relaxed bride I have ever seen. Her and the bridesmaids played "Name that Actor" while they waited for the ceremony to being. Don't let that sweet face fool you, she'll tell you how it is and that's why I fell in love with her too. I understand Jordan now. Jordan's family is from London and he cake gave it all away with the boat crossing the "pond." Love it! It's been a really long time since I've shot a wedding where the ceremony and reception were all at the church and it was so sweet and intimate. I was the second shooter until the ceremony ended and the rest of the night was mine.
Congratulations to Katie and Jordan! Maybe your marriage be long and happy.

Ainsley & Ben ~ A Wedding

Ainsley and Ben were married in Houston at St. Anne's with the reception at the Houstonian. I was second shooting for this one and I was so happy to be there. They were such a warm and inviting family. The brides family was from New Orleans so we got along swiminly since thats where my roots are.You can tell it was a party because they had a wedding cake AND banana's Foster and a big fish sitting on ice. Who would't call that a party!? Plus the band was from Austin called Rotel and the Hot Tomatoes. Amazing! Check it out!

Libby Koch ~ A New Album

Here is the rest of the session I did with my friend Libby Koch. She is a singer/songwriter from Houston, Texas. She used to be lawyer. She has the best dog in the whole world, Bridget, who happened to make a few appearances in this session. She's passionate about what she sings. I was able to sit with her and my hus-band as they layed down a few tracks for the new CD a few days after this session and I awoke the next day singing those songs. I actually kept singing them for the next few days. Now I need the new CD so I can remember more of the words.
I wish you all the luck and success in the world Libby. You are an amazingly talented musician and remember us little ones when you make it big!
