James & Val - A Wedding

This weekend was the wedding of my great friends, James and Valerie. The amazing and emotional church ceremony was held at St. Monica's Church in Santa Monica and the reception was at the Victorian. I was the unofficial photographer for the evening. They had Krissy Davis as the main photographer that did an exceptional job. So this is a long post of the evening through my eyes and with all my friends. I'm going to miss you all greatly. Congratulations and good luck to the new husband and wife. Love y'all!

Announcing A Change of Scenery

The time has finally come. Sam and I are moving back to Texas. Houston, Texas that is. We are both originally from there and came out to California 4 years ago for new and exciting opportunities. Boy did we find some too, but that could take up an entire other blog. We decided its time to plant some roots and settle a little more. So we are packing up the Mayflower truck, shipping the Jetta and driving back to Texas in TWO WEEKS! I will no longer be a southern California Photographer, I will become a Texas Photographer again.

I'm going to try to document the move and trip so I will post those later when I get there and settled. I will continue to visit LA so don't count me out for traveling. Wish me luck on the move and I hope to hear from all of you. Wee haw!

Join the Fight - The Last Show

My husband and our best friends played their last show on Wednesday, September 2nd at the Cat Club. Four of these guys have been playing together since high school. I got teary eye'd watching them rock the faces off of the crowd of our friends. This will be a night to remember. Love you guys, you rock!
